We offer driving lessons and tuition in: Brixham, Harberton (ford), Ipplepen, Newton Abbot, Paignton, Torbay, Torquay & Totnes!
The person helping you to practise must be at least 21 years old and hold a full EC/EEA licence for that car type for at least the previous 3 years.
I recommend that the person going to help progress your driving sits in on an actual driving lesson with the instructor. This will then give that person an idea of your ability and also help them see the way directions are given which will be mirrored by the examiner in the driving test. There is a good book called “Helping Learners to Practice” published by the DSA which gives guidance on situations that may arise.
Your vehicle must be legally roadworthy, display a valid road tax disc and "L" Plates must be displayed to the front and rear of the vehicle.
Make sure they are secure and do not obstruct your view. They should be removed if a full licence holder is driving the vehicle. The full magnetic “L” plates are the most secure.
